An Inverted Thanksgiving

Every Thursday, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM, from 10/23/2008 to 11/06/2008

This year Inversion will show our gratitude as a community group by serving others in need in the Nashville Area.

What We’re Doing:
We are partnering with The Salvation Army and Nashville Social Services to provide Thanksgiving food boxes for 300 needy families in the Nashville area.

What We Need:
We will provide the 3000 canned goods needed for the food boxes. We need 600 each of the following: yams, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce and instant mashed potatoes (boxed). We need to track what we have coming in, so make sure to grab slips that will be available on Thursday night or email me with what you or your commuity group plan to bring.

You can individually bring in cans, or this is a great way for a community group to work together and help us make a bigger dent...3000 cans is a big goal!!

When:
Canned goods can be dropped off at The Gathering on Thursdays October 23rd and 30th and November 6th or at the church office Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
