- Series: A Kingdom of Dreams
This semester we are spending our time together to talk about having our lives propelled forward by different dreams than those which may float in the world all around us. That we desire to be confronted changed by dreams led by Kingdom hopes, Kingdom aspirations and Kingdom values.
- The Gospel - First Importance, Knowing God in Christ
- Death of Dead Religion - We don't want to have a cultural, go through the motions faith, but relationship on mission with the living God
Tonight we transition a little into areas of life that as young adults can be of great struggle and blessing, hope and frustration, desire and emptiness.
Last week we talked together, with each other, about sex...its design, perversions etc. I didn't close with any sort of wrap up talk, because I knew we were going to spend significant time together looking at these things.
Tonight and in Community Groups...Curriculum available for you tonight.
I grew up as a child of the 1980 and 1990s - The decade when AIDS hit the fan. Free love of the 1960s in America and the porno revolution of the 1970s (fueled by technology - the VCR) ran into stuff that kills you.
That led to many strange pop cultural phenomena...Salt and Peppa, George Michael songs.
